The AMAC Victoria/Tasmania committee comprises Drs Katrina Watson (President),  Angela Catanzariti(Secretary)(EAR- applications to RACGP for category 1 and 2 QA&CPD points), Tim Begbie(Treasurer), Natasha Kustura (Education Officer), Dr Ian Relf, Dr Rimas Liubinas.

Regular Education Meetings are held each year, usually on a Sunday morning in the AMREP room of the Alfred Hospital, Prahran, Victoria but additional venues including Tasmania and regional Victoria are also included.

The Federal AGM and Education Conference weekend is held each November in rotating Australian states, this year it will be in NSW

Opportunities to gain the compulsory Triennial 30 Category 1 RACGP QA&CPD points in Acupuncture include one Category 1 meeting held in Victoria or Tasmania each year, the federal AGM conference weekend (each year a different state) or travelling to Category 1 meetings held in other states. The other Victoria/Tasmania branch meetings will attract Category 2 points.

Each year the AMAC Part 1 Course is held in each state, including Victoria.  This qualification is required for any doctor wishing to utilise the 190 item numbers for consultations which have included an Acupuncture treatment.
